Too Sweet.
I like my iced tea half sweet, half un-sweet. This probably disqualifies me from any sort of “true Southern belle” status, but let’s face it, I’m a long shot for so many other reasons.

Selective Memory
Spending time in the South reminds me of how selective my memory is of what it is like.

Crickets
Are the crickets at night as loud in other parts of the country as they are in the South? This time of year they are nearly deafening. But somehow soothing.
