Adele has an amazing singing voice. But have you heard her speaking voice? It’s kind of shocking. Shockingly My-Fair-Lady-esque (before Henry Higgins gets his hands on her). The American equivalent to her accent would most certainly be somewhere in Appalachia. Like down the street from Dolly Parton. Because of her classy, timeless singing voice, and down-home speaking voice, I hearby declare Adele an honorary, somewhat-redneck Southern belle.
